Recently, a customer from Russia visited HETRO’s factory for an on-site inspection and acceptance of medical tube processing equipment. After a detailed review of the machine structure, operating process, sample forming effect, and technical configuration, the customer successfully completed the purchase of 3 sets of Catheter Tip Fusion Machines.
This visit marked an important step in the cooperation between HETRO and the Russian customer. As this was the customer’s first purchase from HETRO, the factory visit gave them a clearer understanding of our manufacturing capability, equipment quality, and technical support system.
The Russian customer is engaged in the medical consumables field and required equipment for the head forming process of catheter-related products. In medical tube manufacturing, the shape, surface smoothness, and consistency of the tube head are important factors that affect downstream assembly and product quality.
Traditional catheter tip forming methods may rely on manual operation or glass molds, which can result in inconsistent product shapes, rough surfaces, and limited mold service life. Therefore, the customer wanted to find a more stable and efficient solution for catheter, sputum suction tube, nasal tube, stomach tube, and other hose product head forming.
After communication with HETRO’s technical team, the customer selected the HTLF-01 Catheter Tip Fusion Machine as the suitable solution for their production needs.

During the factory visit, HETRO’s team introduced the machine design, working principle, mold structure, and operating procedure to the customer in detail. The customer also observed the actual equipment operation and checked the forming results of sample products.
The Catheter Tip Fusion Machine is designed for shaping the tips of catheter products. By changing different molds, it can produce various head shapes, including closed type, open type, mushroom-shaped, horseshoe-shaped, and other customized special shapes.
Compared with traditional forming methods, the equipment uses durable molds with better thermal cycling performance. Even after repeated use, the mold inner wall can remain smooth, helping the finished product achieve a smoother appearance and more consistent shape.
The customer paid particular attention to several key points during the acceptance process:
First, the machine provides stable forming quality. For medical tube products, consistent tip shape is essential for mass production. The equipment can help reduce variation caused by manual operation and improve product uniformity.
Second, the machine supports different product requirements through mold replacement. This allows the customer to process multiple catheter-related products on the same equipment platform, improving production flexibility.
Third, the semi-automatic operation process helps improve efficiency while keeping operation simple. The operator places the catheter into the fixture, and the machine automatically sends the tube tip into the mold for heating, shaping, cooling, and ejecting.
Finally, HETRO’s experience in medical consumable automation equipment gave the customer confidence in long-term cooperation. HETRO integrates R&D, design, and manufacturing capabilities, and can provide customized equipment, molds, fixtures, and technical support according to different production requirements.
After the on-site inspection and technical confirmation, the Russian customer confirmed the equipment performance and successfully purchased 3 sets of Catheter Tip Fusion Machines.
For the customer, this order is not only a first purchase but also a starting point for future cooperation. With these machines, the customer will be able to improve the stability of catheter tip forming, support different tube head designs, and enhance production efficiency in their medical tube manufacturing process.
For HETRO, this successful factory acceptance once again demonstrates the trust of overseas customers in our medical consumable automation solutions.
